Hello, everyone!
Just wanted to update you on a recent development that doesn’t directly have to do with Glory. My brother had to take Philip to the ER Sunday morning around 1:30with a large kidney stone. They did emergency surgery at Sparks and removed a large stone. We are waiting for him to be released from the hospital any time now. He is doing well but in a lot of pain. As many of you know, he has had problems with kidney stones for many years now. This is the first emergency surgery they have had to do. We are thankful that this happened now and not in a few weeks. He does still have some other stones up high in his kidneys, but they did not want to deal with those in this surgery. Please pray that he can heal quickly, that the other stones won’t bother him, and that we can find some preventative help for this problem that he has had for years.
The above development also means that Philip will not be able to go with me tomorrow to Little Rock for our appointments tomorrow. This will be very hard for both of us, but we don’t feel like this is something we can reschedule…we need to find out as much about Glory as we can and as soon as we can. Daniel is still taking me… and my mom may go, also. I am very thankful for that. Please pray that we will both be comforted since we will not be together. Whew!!! What a month!!! We still feel your prayers and appreciate being able to share this time in our lives with you.
Love,
Kerry
